Boy Genius suggests that 4,500 Palm Pres will be distributed to the US’s 599 Best Buy locations (that’s 7 units per store) on June 7th. You’ve got to wonder if they’ll be selling these units or just setting up demos. It seems silly to knowingly sell out within a few minutes and create frustrated would-be customers.
