    Yep, old iBook plus firewire 4-bay external case plus an accumulation of old drives plus sharepoints = networked raid / backup / server solution.

    It stutters a bit over wireless (b) to my other old iBook, but it plays images of DVDs that I’ve made flawlessly to the iMac over plain old ethernet. It’s a regular Fight Quest jukebox.
