Why did I like Sammy Hagar again?

Posted by: Dave In: Recreation

Sometimes, a person cannot see how bad a situation is until he steps away from it. Now that Van Hagar is over, I see it from that fresh perspective.

Thank goodness that’s over.

Sam’s lyrics have always been poor, but he reached a new level of crap with his new single, “On A Roll.” Here’s a sample

“Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines

I’m on a roll

Well, I’m on a roll let it roll

Roll, roll, roll.

Well, I’m on a roll let it roll.

Roll, roll, roll.

Well we rollin’ for a while

comin’ up on turn three”

Goodness.
